So can you break down for me why people hate her so much? I don’t get it. Did she burn an American flag or something?

You’d think she’d pulled a Sinead O’Connor and ripped a picture of the Pope on SNL, but, really, she just didn’t sing very well… 

People just don’t like her because she appears to be very, VERY manufactured. Unlike Lady Gaga who has her legion of Little Monsters believing everything she does is ~so original~, it’s really obvious that LDR is a puppet in the hands of music execs. Her look/style, plastic surgery, auto-tuned vocals — all well done, but pretty clearly fake.

Haters gonna hate. It happens to the best of ‘em. If Britney Spears can sustain a career on lip-syncing, LDR should have no trouble surviving.
